Warm Wood Kitchen Remodel With Improved Storage

Roseheart Warm Wood Kitchen Remodel

Located in San Antonio’s Roseheart neighborhood, this kitchen had plenty of space and great natural light, but its original layout and finishes were ready for an update. Rather than moving away from the warmth of wood, the homeowners chose to embrace it—pairing beautiful natural cabinetry with lighter finishes, improved storage and a more refined design.

One of the biggest opportunities was the room’s height. The original upper cabinets stopped well below the ceiling, leaving valuable vertical space unused. New custom cabinetry in place of the old corner panty takes advantage of those tall walls, dramatically increasing storage while giving the kitchen a more intentional, built-in appearance.

Light quartz countertops brighten the room and provide a soft contrast to the warmth and natural grain of the cabinetry. A glazed green tile backsplash introduces subtle color and variation, while dark hardware adds definition without overpowering the wood.
