An Early-2000s Kitchen, Cleaned Up and Modernized

Spring Branch Kitchen Remodel

This Spring Branch kitchen remodel transformed an early-2000s kitchen with dark granite countertops, hickory cabinets, and an ornate vent hood into a clean, modern space while keeping the original footprint intact. We paired toffee-stained maple cabinets with a bold navy kitchen island and matching beverage station, neutral quartzite countertops, and a striking statement backsplash to brighten and modernize the space. The new custom range hood was shifted to accommodate a much larger Sub-Zero refrigerator, improving both flow and functionality. Additional upper cabinets and smart kitchen storage solutions, including a corner lazy Susan and built-in space cabinets flanking the range, maximize storage and everyday efficiency. This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful custom cabinetry and design can elevate a kitchen without changing its layout.
